Hey there everyone,
I just got my SJ22 and love it so far but have one question to which I cannot find the answer even in the manual
It says that if the battery reaches 0% it will loose all its data that you stored (numbers etc). My question is at what percentage should the clie be charged? 10%? or everynight after usage? will it harm the harm battery from excessive charging? Thanks to anyone and all that reply!

You are right, the manual is very "general"... I read here that you should charge as often as possible. I've taken that advice for a few months now with no problem. I charge at home whenever I put it down. I keep the original charger next to the sofa (across from the TV) and bought a 3rd party USB cable (which also charges) plugged into the computer...
The battery rate rarely reaches 76%. That only happens when I shuffle things around in the memory card... There's ANOTHER sore subject the manual fails to TRULY explain! I'm still lurking here trying to pick up some tips on tackling that one....(!)

It's better to charge your handheld when the Low Battery message is displayed.
It will last longer if you do so.

The battery in the SJ22 is a Lithium Ion (LION) battery, as oppossed to to a Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) or Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH). Lithium Ion is a significant improvement to NiCd and NiMH technologies. The main advantages are a ~30% reduction in weight, a ~30% increase in capacity, and elimination of the "memory effect".
The "memory effect" is primarily a concern with NiCd, but can, to a lesser extent, also affect NiMH. The memory effect is where a battery loses capacity and begins to use only the cells that are fully charged and discharged regularly, resulting in poor battery performance and eventually failure. This, however, can be counteracted simply by fully discharging the battery before a recharge, or every other recharge.
Lithium Ion batteries do NOT suffer from this memory effect. Lithium Ion batteries are very different. You should not deliberately discharge a Li-Ion cell. In fact, if you were to manage to run one flat, it would probably be damaged. There is electronics inside each Li-Ion battery to protect it from such abuse, but don't take the risk!
To keep your Li-Ion battery in good shape, simply charge it overnight before it runs down. If a full battery at all times matters to you, you can top it up whenever you like, this will not damage its capacity. However, you will probably get a longer service life from your battery if you only recharge it when it is getting a bit low. I am not talking about the capacity being reduced as in the "memory effect", but this relates to the overall lifecycle of the battery.

Not always. Its debatable whether or not completely draining a Li Ion battery is bad or good.
