Do any of you guys have and IBM's WebSphere Micro Environment Java VM running on there UX50? As you can tell by the files, I want to run OperaMini...

I am pretty sure you v2 to run opera mini i'm pretty sure....

I tried the Java install linked above in conjunction with Opera Mini, to no avail (Opera error message said Java Runtime wasn't installed...). The couple of threads about this elsewhere link to dead sites of one kind or another.

Does anyone here actually have a copy of the right Java for running Opera? And can you share with the rest of the group?

I am using IBM WebSphere Micro environment version 5.7.1 - the relevant part is the Micro Environment MIDP 2.0

It used to be a free download from IBM but I can't seem to find it on their website any more. PM with any other queries (you know what I mean ;) )

chacalau -- yeah, I seen that problem too. Last night as a matter fact.

Oh, forgot to post. Got Opera Mini 3 to run. I found an old copy of all that java junk that I needed to run (I really need to clean up my file on the old hard drive.)

My next test is to install the new updates to it and see what happens (look for the cloud of smoke coming from Texas.)
