Greetings.

I've got a LifeDrive about a year ago, and since then I've been able to make only two hotsyncs run through the end of the process.

Every other attempt at hotsyncing it with my computer runs without any error message, but they hang when syncing "WiFiProfile". Both the hotsync app on my PC and the one on my Palm just stick there, no matter how many hours I leave it running. I have to reset my Palm and kill it on my PC using Windows' task manager, and it won't let me do another hotsync before I reboot, stating that a hotsync (the aborted one) is already running.

Both the cable and WiFi hotsync hang like this and I couldn't figure out which conduit I have to deselect in order to skip "WiFiProfile".

I applied the latest LifeDrive update, and the first hotsync after reinstalling PalmOS was the only one to run properly.

Has this happened to anyone else? Which conduit should I deselect? Is there another way to fix this issue?

Have you tried either renaming your archive and backup folders in your profile on your computer or what I like better is to copy them and delete the contents of the originals. This prevents a bad app from being reinstalled onto your device. If you do this and then to a hard reset, you should have no problems, although you may wish to try without a hard reset first (worth a try).

Removing the WiFiProfile file from my Backup directory seems to fix the problem. Thanks for your quick reply.
