Sony vs. Zire 71

...don't get me wrong, but I am a Sony fanatic. I also frequent the Sony website, but that seems to leave me feeling very shallow and and still wondering what they are talking about. Is is just me or is that site just a lotta PROMOTIONAL hype? Forget it if ya really need help..... I mean, out of ALL OF US Sony users, you mean to say there are only 10 top FAQ to display??? I think not... I am hoping that I would hear from ClieSource FIRST that Sony puts out something new that resembles the Zire 71. I am in the market for an upgrade but I'd rather PULL MY OWN TEETH than to try and gather any credible information from Sony. I want to upgrade NOW, but..... A), will Sony put out something within the next two months or B) Just upgrade to something that's available now. This dic*ing around is killing me... Has anyone heard anything SOLID???

If you need to upgrade now then DO IT!!!!

Treat yourself with a Zire 71. Its screen is just unbelievable.

Be aware that you already invested on memory sticks and the Zire uses another type of expansion card (SD). If you don't like wasting money for an SD card then your only option is to wait for the next Sony model to arrive...

I would just try and be patient. There will be an announcment soon. I definitely wouldn't recommend a Zire 71. The MP3 volume alone will drive you crazy after owning a Clie.

I would choose to wait. Initally I wanted to change over too. But I think waiting for the next model of a VG series will be the best. If Sony does not come out any good VG series, I should be changing into the NX series with camera within this year...
