View Full Version : Use Bluetooth as trigger to launch an application?

I am wondering if any of you very smart guys could develop an app that would allow you to launch an application by pressing the call button on your bluetooth headset. Here's my thinking, currently when you press the button on your headset the Treo redials the last number you called, I would like for that "instruction" to be intercepted and used to launch an application like Voice Dial or whatever. I know that commands are recorded by the internal microphone on the Treo and that's ok, I just want to launch Voice Dial with my BT.

VoiceDialIt already allows launching when pressing the BT headset button. Tap Settings, Next and checkmark "Allow headset button press".

I didn't know that. The only problem with VoicedialIt is that you have to program/configure every contact that you might call. When you have 2500 contacts, and you call any one of 200 of them that's a pain in the...
