I just bought the SJ20 and the Stowaway Keyboard from Targus. They do not fit!!!! The dock in the bottom of the Sj20 is too narrow for the Stowaway keyboard input. What's up? The stowaway people said that the SJ20 would work with the right drivers, but I can't even connect the two. Are different models of Clies have different size inputs on the bottom?? Is the Sj20 narrower than most?
And once I get this figured out, what program do I use to type in? Is there a word processor on this puppy? I am getting Docs to Go, but is that enough? Do I need Wordsmith as well?
Damn.

I don't know what the model for the former S series is. TH emodel I bought is Targus PA830 - that's what it says on the back of the keyboard. on the package it says model no. PA830U. Don't know if that matters...

Prior to purchasing a keyboard for my wife's SJ20, I emailed Targus and asked them specifically if they sold any collapsible keyboard that fit the SJ20. Their response was a direct "no", and they directed me to the keyboard sold by Sony (KB11?).

I know the KB11 works with the SJ20, I use them together all of the time. I also thought I read somewhere that only Sony sold the keyboard for Clie's.
When I bought some third-party chargers for my SJ33, I learned at one of the website that there are two different connectors Sony uses. The older design is a 10 pin connector. The newer one (which your SJ20 uses) is a 20 pin connector. Also, only 18 of the 20 pins are used by the clie's.
Sony has a lock on the Stowaway keyboards that work with the newer Clies. I read very recently that the new XT model will be available soon. and it will be available from someone other than Sony.
