I think the NZ is the best looking Clie out to date. I like the feel better than any other. If the Clie gets much bigger they'll be able to add a hidden compartment so I can carry my concealed weapon 'in' my Clie.

If it didn't cost an arm and a leg I might even think of trading in my N760C. Naaaaaa.

Then don't buy it. Not every handheld has been design to appeal to every user. If you want a combination of handheld and digital camera, then the NZ90 might be just what you are looking for. If you aren't, then look for something else.

This is Sony's hardware strategy. They are going to make lots of different models with lots of different feature sets and try to appeal to as many people as possible.

If you want a smaller model that doesn't have the camera, consider a NX70. Or, if you want something smaller than that, wait a bit until Sony releases its T-series replacement with OS 5.

I would jump on an updated 665 with OS5 (if it has VG).

Although I'm still miffed at being burned by the MS fiasco (I have a 665 now), I think that combination of features would be exactly what would perfect my PDA. My 665 is *almost* perfect now ... with VG, it would be great!!!

Seriously, though I like a LOT of the specs on the Garmin, drop the GPS, and let Sony design the case. The Garmin looks uglier than the NZ !!! :)

I await my birthday (in June) in great anticipation. SOMEONE will have a PDA out by then that I like better than my NX. I hope Sony puts out something that competes with the iQue a little better (32MB would be nice). On the other hand, there's a lot of things that we don't know about the iQue or any hypothetical T-replacement. Will they use the just-announced Palm standard method of interacting with the minimizable grafitti area? Will they implement the Sound Stream Feature Set? (I still think it was a mistake that Sony didn't implement that for the NX) Is the 32MB of RAM on the iQue standard, or is 16MB reserved for maps? (I don't think so, the 16MB limit was imposed by the 68K dragonball DRAM controllers, the 68K instruction sets had full 4GB addressing).

ok I did the compaison on the sony site, between this nz and my nx, and there realy is no diff, my sony erricson fhone works with the nx fine, so can anyone tell me the diff
