The Friday LA Times Fry's Electronics ad has the TG-50 for $299. USD. (Page 2 color insert-so it seemed)
Called Best Buy for price match (much nearer). Manager said he had to "call and verify price first". Called me back and said they were all refurbished.
Called Fry's and they checked and pulled them for inspection. All NEW says manager; "Best Buy never called us"
Best Buy then offered "Courtesy 10% off. that's all. We also have open box for 10% off". Our cost is $319 and we can't sell for more than 10% off"
What's happening here?

Turns out the Frys' ad was meant for and is the Clié NX-60....
