display problem with ux50

i have a big problem with my ux50.
when i start it, the palm logo appears, but then the display turn black.
not the illumination, the whole display is inoperable.
Can enyone help me? i realy like my ux50...

Try to change the battery first and report back your findings.

faced this problem before, just simply close the shelf and open it again (while your ux still on) ,that might help, good luck

Try also pressing Ctrl + L to switch the backlight on. My UX does this after a reset every now and then...
