How to move music to CF card?

Hey guys!
What application do you use when you moving MP3 or ATRAC files from PC to CF card?
My Clié Launcher is not recognizing CF card as MS. Do I need to format CF card?

I think you need to use a 3rd party card writer . Current CF driver does not work with MsImport.

The easiest way to move files to the card is to get yourself a USB card reader.
I'm using a Dazzle* 8 card reader - cost me about $35. But I'm sure you can find a cheaper one. The Dazzle* also reads Memory Sticks, CF, Smart Media and others.

Here's a way to move sound files to the CF on the cheap :) :

1. Open the install tool
2. Click "Add"
3. In the "File Types" dropdown select "All Files(*.*)"
4. Browse to the MP3 and select it.
5. Click open
6. Select the MP3 in the list of files to be installed
7. Click Change destination
8. On the left side, change the "Install to" dropdown list from "Handheld" to "CompactFlash Card-2" (_not_ "CompactFlash Card)
9. Select the MP3 and click on the "<<" button
10. Click OK
11. HotSync
12. Find the file on the CF using ClieFiles (/AUDIO)
13. Move it to the /PALM/Programs/MSAUDIO folder

You can batch these as well so you don't have to do this one at a time. Additionally you can drag from the MP3 folder into the install tool and drop them there, saving some time.

Just bought a SimpleTech CF USB reader on Amazon for $16...&nbsp; only does CF if that's all you need...
