Couldn't find a posting about this and can't figure it out w/the NX manual...how can I download/transfer movies made on my NX onto my computer so I can watch them there? Doesn't seem like they're readably by any of the standard applications (quicktime, real player, etc.).

I have transferred Clié films to my computer per infrared and played them on the PC with Quicktime. Everything worked fine!

use msimport to transfer the video file to your PC, the file extension should be mqv, rename it to .mov and open itwith quicktime, I have done this before

for some reason, extension on movie files is *.MAI (in the folder Movieplayer). Renaming extension does not work. Any suggestions?

Hi Avega-

Like alexasha, my movies (created on my Clie) are MAI files. Is there another location to find the extension you are referring to?

Not having QuickTime 6.1 was the problem. I downloaded it and now the movies play. Thanks for the help!

carls28:

Why do you want to change a movie to a jpg.
Better use the clie camera picture option. You will have jpg pictures right away

Interesting development in this area with MS PRO upgrade from 128MB MS. Everything works fine except video play back studders like Max Headroom and cycles through all files. Sony support says this will probably require a driver update to fix. Anyone else have the same problem or a fix?
