LD doesn't work

have a life drive that was functioning good until I did for mistake 2 hard reset 1 after another . whit the second hard reset the palm turn black an then I tried to do a soft reset, but it began to re-star many times until finally it turn off for . If I tried to reset the palm it began to re-star over an over again (I only see the logo of palm). I did all kind of reset and discharged and charged the battery .. but nothing works.. I need help please ....

Possible translation: I hard reset the lifedrive and did a second one when the results were not satisfactory.

Attempts at soft reseting eventually resulted in a (discharged)dead battery.

Possible solution: recharge the battery by soft reset in the charger. When fully recharged test the lifedrive. Listen for hard drive sounds. Report back results/or read other Life drive reports.

I did That I discharged all the battery. Then I began to recharge it and in a few minutes the LD turn on for itself and it started again a reset loops, When the reset loop is going I listen the hard drive sounds before it began the loop again .

I also recharged the battery for 24 hours and the palm started whit the same reset Loop . Then I tried to do a Hard reset but the screen turn black

In another forum they told me that it can be the MD ??

is the hard drive making any type of clicking sound? it should sound nice and smooth.

Yes, the hard drive makes a sound like a click in the final part of the reset loop.

before the click the light of the LD changes from red to green. Then you can hear the click sound and finally the screen turns black for a few seconds and starts the logo on the screen.

the sequence of the loop is: Logo white, then logo Grey, then changes the color of the light from red to green, then click , then black screen (like the LD it's turn of ), then again logo white............

yep, mine did that and i replaced the hd with a patriot 4 gb cf from usedpdaparts.com. easier than falling in love. :D
