View Full Version : Can U use 10 MB Merriam W dict w/ PalmReader Pro Desktop??
since I have sold my Clie in April, I need to somehow be able to utilize the 10 MB Merriam Webster dictionary that I bought for my PalmReader Pro that resided on my Memory Stick (still does). Can I use it with the version of PalmReader Pro Desktop (the version that's not free)?
Would anyone know?
It looks like you can!
Now I don't need a Clie for a while
I can use my PalmReader Pro for Mac (about to buy), my many ebooks I got from memoware.com and peanutpress.com, and the Merriam Webster Dict I got from them on my Mac just like I used it on the Clie!
Rock on!
(I spent 80% of my Clie time reading ebooks anyway, so I can wait for the next NX till next fall if need be... I am using ICal on my PowerBook to do time management in the meantime (miss Datebook5 though.. :( )

I searched through all pages and can't find the answer to what it seems to be a simple question:
How do I install such a dictionary in a way that Palmreader Pro can recognise it as being a dictionary?
Please help, thanks.
I bought PalmReader Pro (for Palm OS), am I entitled to the pro version for the desktop (Mac in my case)? Or is that an additional purchase?
The free version of PalmReader for the desktop will NOT open dictionaries
