I use a few different apps for my Memos on my TX (Palm Memos 1.3, PsMemo 0.7.3, and ChronMemo 1.09), but ChronMemo is my default. I just noticed an "Edit" date in ChronMemo was set to "N/A" even though it had the previous Edit date yesterday. I looked around a several recently edited memos and they were all missing they Edit date! It's not the end of the world, but CRAP! I'm bummed.

Can anyone tell me what I may have to to cause this and, more important, how to avoid this going forward. Thanks!

Maybe they got opened in one of your other memo apps, and the app modified something that wiped out the edit dates?

The edit dates only get updated if edited by chronmemo.

I wouldn't be too sure. I was pleasantly surprised when I initially discovered that the default Palm Memo app did not affect the dates, and that hotsync worked fine with them. But I wouldn't be completely surprised if PsMemo, say, stored its own data in the fields in question.

ChronMemo stores a checksum for its date field and will delete the date data if it notices that some app modified it (e.g., by storing something else in that field).

Of course some data since the backup would be lost.

Yes, the memo database "MemosDB-PMem".

Thanks Alex. I was hoping it would be a separate file so I wouldn't have to lose any updated memos. This is good to know regardless.

Maybe there wouldn't be any conflict with PsMemo if the two apps features could be combined into one... :D
