I bought a new brand new SJ-33 this past weekend. I am running Windows 2000 pro and I am logged on with administrator rights. I had a PALM III configured for Outlook 2000 using a full version of Intellisync (ver 3.1).
I removed all the old Intellisync and Palm Desktop applications from my system then installed the Palm desktop for Sony Clie from the CD. I chose to sync MS Outlook 2000 using Intellisync. The problem is after I launch Intellisync Configure and choose MS Outlook as the conduit for (let's say) Addresses, I get a pop-up message asking me for Postoffice, Mailbox and password. I have never seen this before when configuring the Palm III and have no clue what to enter. I tried the same thing with Intellisync-Lite with the same outcome. This is preventing me from being able to use Outlook 2000 with my new SJ-33.
I took the precaution of backing up my hard drive by cloning it to another hard drive before i did all this. That way I can restore my system to the way is was before I bought the SJ-33.
Also, Is it possible to have both Palm III and SJ-33? (Each will have a different user name).
Thanks
