I bought a new brand new SJ-33 this past weekend. I am running Windows 2000 pro and I am logged on with administrator rights. I had a PALM III configured for Outlook 2000 using a full version of Intellisync (ver 3.1).
I removed all the old Intellisync and Palm Desktop applications from my system then installed the Palm desktop for Sony Clie from the CD. I chose to sync MS Outlook 2000 using Intellisync. The problem is after I launch Intellisync Configure and choose MS Outlook as the conduit for (let's say) Addresses, I get a pop-up message asking me for Postoffice, Mailbox and password. I have never seen this before when configuring the Palm III and have no clue what to enter. I tried the same thing with Intellisync-Lite with the same outcome. This is preventing me from being able to use Outlook 2000 with my new SJ-33.

I took the precaution of backing up my hard drive by cloning it to another hard drive before i did all this. That way I can restore my system to the way is was before I bought the SJ-33.

Also, Is it possible to have both Palm III and SJ-33? (Each will have a different user name).

Thanks

You might try looking in the Outlook settings:
Tools - Services - then on Services tab, you should see a list of the mail servers your Outlook talks to. Clicking on those, you can follow to their properties, including IP addresses and password (though I see mine is hidden).

PS - If you use Outlook on a server at work, I discovered that Intellisync wasn't able to do this, and I reverted to the Pocket Mirror I used with my previous Palm.

I agree with david on both counts. However, you may have to enter your data one time for intelisync to be able sync your data.
Pocket mirror from chapura has been a good solution for me. If you have had any palm device in the past that ran pocket mirror, and still have the software, you can install that version and go out to the chapura web site which david mentioned and go to the downloads area and download the update to the latest version which I believe is version 3.003. Pocket mirror comes in two flavors, the standard version is fine for most anyone, unless you use tons of catagories in outlook.
Remove the intelisync conduits first if you are going this route.

I know some interesting and unusual softwares, but couple days ago no one of its couldn't help me. I had many crashed emails. But this morning I by accident have come upon an application - outlook 2000 pst repair (http://www.recoverytoolbox.com/outlook_2000_pst_repair_tool.html). And to my great surprise it determined my issue for seconds and utterly for free as I bore in mind. Moreover it could support *.eml, *.vcf and *.txt formats.
