I'm curious why the drop down menus of PocketGear didn't work for you. It worked for me in both Firefox(2.0) & Safari(3.0) on Mac OS Tiger (yes, I plan to skip Leopard, LOL). Only problem is that they somehow managed to make every element of the website lag for several seconds, maybe you took the lag for "not working".

But anyway, I never liked PalmGear, and for freeware, FreewarePalm & Freeware-Palm are always the places to go. Of course, 1src is another good place to get freeware.

A lot of the FreewarePalm downloads are linked to the old PalmGear. I'm not sure about sources for the hyphenated site.

All that, the new style of PocketGear is sort of weird. I can't put my finger on it. It just doesn't feel right. Oh well.
