Kinoma vs. image converter

I wanted everyones opinion on Kinoma vs. the image converter that is bundled w/ the clie.

Are the video files created by Kinoma smaller and better quality than the image converter using comparable quality??

I was turned off Kinoma in the beginning because when I was trying it out with the free spiderman trailer, the image quality was decent but there was no sound!! I didn't know why, everything looked like it checked out. In addition, even though the trailer was widescreen it didn't completely cover the entire area of the screen.

As for audio problems there are different encodings for the NR and NX versions of the Clie...you'll want to make sure that you have encoded the audio properly for your specific device.

Be sure you have the new version of Kinoma 1.5.1 player and version 1.5.1 producer. I experienced the same audio problems with version 1.5 player but the new version corrects the problem.
