Megalauncher Problems

I am still a relative newbie....
I just installed Megalauncher. I was wondering if anyone could tell what file skins and backgrounds should be synched to? I like Megalauncher but I'd like to customize it. Also, if anyone has any recommendations about which launcher you love the most. I had problems with Yishow back when... It continually crashed my NX. I love, however, how much support it has.
