View Full Version : Does MSBackup restore apps as well?

I am about to put a new battery in my old TJ-27 and made a backup with MSBackup. Will this restore the apps as well as the data or would it be better to use something like Resco?

Yes - MSBackup will restore apps and data. This was one of the first basic backup app on the Clie that came packaged in the ROM. Simple - but very useful.
Backup apps like Resco, Backupman, BackupBuddy do the same plus they also could schedule backups and do incremental backups.

Thank you very much! I do not need regular backups, just the occasional one.
