A Newbie In Need!!!!

Hello, i'm new to the CLie, just bought one yesterday. I'm a writer and I thought it would be a good device to use for taking down ideas, being bale to import and export Word docs, emailing and things of that matter.

Can anyone suggest some programs/downloads that I can place on the clie to better assist me with that?
