I've seen the softtic audiogate software, and they seem to have overcome the crippling of bluetooth on the verizon treos. It is possible to stream music to a headset now, if the headset is A2DP. Mine is not, and I wondered if there was any other software that could do the same job, but send it to my jawbone bluetooth headset?

Thanks for any help!!

I've looked and found none. I read somewhere that it's not possible (I didn't understand why).

Anyway, since your with Verizon, are you using a 700P by any chance? If so, how's the jawbone?

I'm using a 650, with a broken audio jack, hence the need for bluetooth streaming audio.

The jawbone is wonderful for comfort. Excellent for audio quality. Reliable. People on the other end literally don't hear most of the noise around me. Like passing fire trucks. It handles volumn pretty well, automatically.

But if you have to be outdoors in the wind, it doesn't work well there.

I've streamed music from my laptop to my Moto headset, and it works well enough, although mono, of course. I don't see why you couldn't do it from a Palm as well, but I haven't tried it with the Softick Audio Gateway. I don't actually use the software very often, although I bought it. I usually just use a Jabra a120s adapter plugged into the headset jack. It will pair with just about anything.

so you play mono music out to your bluetooth headset with just the jabra120s? will that work with any bluetooth headset? can you still rcv calls and talk to them? thanks
