ZLauncher 5.45 beta2 Released!

2 weeks ago zztechs made a update version ZL5.45beta1, now they've already had a new update vesion ZL5.45beta2. saying it's an improve version for beta1

Changes in this version:
1.Fixed the sound looping problem on Treo 680 and Treo 700p when the screen goes black .

2.Provided a solution for user to stop ZLauncher from launching in case of the error problem after reset the device.

3.Differ from version 545 b1, on NVFS ZLauncher would not automatically recycle DBCache.

4.Added a plugin called ZLPluginDBCache which you can view, free DBCache. This plugin is only can be used on NVFS, and especially useful for TX, you can find it in the download package of ZLauncher. This ability is to enhance the performance on NVFS. Differ from version 545 b1, this plugin now can work without being showed.

5.Fixed a bug that the newly installed applications are not showing up under ZLauncher, but can be found under the default launcher.

6.Fix a bug that ZLauncher exits to the default launcher when pressing the Home button after reinstalling ZLauncher.

Altho I didn't have any issues with my TX, I like the new pop up to alert me when the cache is being cleared, as well as the "clear now" button which works in this beta. All in all, it seem to me to be a great enhancement to an already great app.

Hmm, the new beta 2's ZLPluginDBCache file doesn't work on my Treo 700p. I restored the previous file, keeping the B2 version of ZL and it works. Must report to ZZTechs.

Seems to work a bit better on my TX. The 'info' screen still reports 2.4.9 but the 'about' screen reports 2.45b2. Also, I had to set the 'auto clear' value to 5M because my TX has 5.6M free after a reset and the clearing routine always kicked in after a reset.

A few months ago I asked ZZTechs to add a dbcache size info button to the bars. This is so much better, great work ZZTechs.

Anybody know if the new dbcache feature will affect users of Dmitry G's UDMH ?
