Whether you buy it or not, at least try out the free trial!

You should try it helps organize all your apps, as well as give you some more functions then the oem menu system.
If anything it will personalize your clie. The theme I'm running now looks like windows xp in HiRes 320x480 with Bliss background. It even accepts Jpeg files as backgrounds.
Lastly, if you don't like it you can always turn it off and use the oem menu.

Short answer: Yes.
Seriously though, it is (no flames please!) the best launcher out there. But try it out first; that's one of the best things about shareware.
Be sure to give it the full 30 days for the demo and play with all the options, and there are a ton of them. One of the frequent criticisms of ZL is it has a heck of a lot of options and can be a bit confusing at first. This is certainly true but it is time well spent learning it. Another criticism is that the default look is cluttered, and this is true too- but being so customizable, you can make is as clean or as cluttered as you wish.
Make sure you have plenty of RAM though-- once you include a background image, theme, and icons it can take a lot of space.

Should I get ZLauncher? That's like asking, "Should I get a car?" Well, you can always walk everywhere, but your world will be a lot smaller! ;) That just about explains the difference between a full-featured launcher and plain old Palm OS interface. :)

Walking is good for your health and the environment. Bad anology.

Walking also is slow and exausting! But maybe a better one would be "Should I get Mac or the PC" no better not say that, lot of Mac users here. Maybe "Should I get the Commadore 64 or the Pentium 4". ya thats it. Uhm.... There's not any Commadore 64 users out there is there?

But if you had to choose a job within walking distance, and walk to buy groceries, etc. or walk to whatever entertainment you do, movies, etc. how much would that cramp your lifestyle?
So in your counter-analogy, walking is definately a good way to go, but a bad "only way to go!" :D Thus, the same is true of using the interface that comes with a Palm OS vs. a full-featured launcher app! I'll stand by my first analogy! ;)

Buy it. It turns your palm into something a Pc, but thankfully doesn't use the windows OS.
