What programs would everyone recommend to add to the UX50? Where online can one download them? I used to know of a program that included a new interface/file manager etc. Anyone know of any that work with it now? Seen one with aquarium theme?

Some examples of programs:

Ebook reader
Notes/Txt and PDF
Database
Movie and video watching

I will add more questions as I think of them.

Thanks!

As for memory sticks. What kind of adapter do I need with this card:
http://shop2.outpost.com/product/4840420;jsessionid=edIADUb5B2wpYHnve+p51A**.node3?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

It's a Sandisk Memory stick pro duo gaming 2GB

Where does one get an adapter?

In answer to your first question, you can pick up anb adapter from ebay for about $3-4 total, the one your looking for can be found here (http://cgi.ebay.com/New-For-Sandisk-SONY-Pro-Duo-PSP-Memory-Stick-Adapter_W0QQitemZ150184103427QQihZ005QQcategoryZ43452QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

And to the second point, yes the ux does have a built in app that can view pdfs, its called picsel viewer, it can also view microsoft word, excel and i think power point

hope that helps

As for adding photos. What size photos are best? Also, is there a zoom feature on the UX?

What is the latest firmware? Where does one download it. I found on the Sony site where it lists updates/drivers. But, nothing that says firmware.

Do you recommend installing all updates/drivers?

SK :o Why don't you read your user's guide and make a search on 1src ?

You are a native speaker, I'm not but I can find many things by myself. Let's try it !

P.S.: yes, there's a zoom feature in Cliécamera.

I've searched alot, but many of my questions are not in the users guide or not found in a search. Reason I'm asking here.

There is no upgradeable firmware or the like - you are pretty much stuck with what comes in the box.

I'm actually talking about Palm OS. What is the latest version that can be put on the UX?

Strange on no OS upgrades since I know I've seen posts where people have said they've upgraded ??

So everyone here with a UX has the same OS?

Anyone claiming to have upgraded the OS on a UX is having you on - it just cannot be done. Everyone here with a UX is on Palm OS 5.2.

Where do I find the program for alarms? It has world clock, but nothing with alarms?

Also, I tried wifi for the first time with Netfront and how does everyone see the webpages? They are so tiny. Is there a zoom feature?

You can set alarms in the Date Book application or in the World Clock app. Simply open World Clock, tap one of the radio buttons at the top left and fill in the required details for an alarm. Easy!

There's nothing on top left. Is WA Clock, world clock? I thought it was.

There are 5 things on top right and an alarm clock next to them, but they are not clickable. I figured these must be the alarms to set but nothing happens when I click them.

Only thing clickable is to change time zone.

yeah the world clock is WA clock; there are left five buttons and beside that stands 0:00 if the alarms was not modified
you can click on the buttons (the small circles) to come to the "Set Alarm" dialog.

let me know if you have any problems with it

Ok, the little circles are clickable, but they are on the top right on my WA clock.

I tried wifi for the first time with Netfront and how does everyone see the webpages? They are so tiny. Is there a zoom feature? Also when viewing an email website and trying to delete all emails, when new page came up it would say invalid on all the fields. What is this? and why was it happening?

I bought a MS adapter from ebay and have a 2GB pro duo (from PSP) that I plan to use with the UX50. I have a 256MB Memory stick in it now.

Can I move everything from memory stick to the UX50? and then just move it to new card? Our CD drive is dead and I havn't been able to add installation disc or been able to add anything to the UX50 except what it came with it (bought online).

Also, which partition is the one that deletes everything when battery goes dead?

In clie files, it shows Memory stick, Internal Memory and Handheld...
