G2's are great, as are the ones from boxwave.com.

WriteRights suck!

Boxwave is my favorite. There are a lot of threads on this topic, so you may want to do a search and see what's been said before.

I use the Brando. Have used them since they first came out and love them. They almost have a pen on paper feel to them. Excellent product and you can buy them right here from Global Source.

I don't use protection, I don't like the way it feels.

Using Brando, probably going to try Boxwave next. I love the Brando, don't get me wrong...I've heard that Boxwave's don't have the slight milkiness that Brando's do.

Try Transparency Paper made for copiers and overhead projectors.

It is excellent !

And MUCH CHEAPER than the stick-on kind, which is specifically made for PDAs.

You also don't have to deal with removing air bubbles, like you do with the stick-on kind.

You just cut it to be slighltly larger than the PDA glass, so it can slip into the inside grooves of the top, and it stays securely in place. It doesn't move at all on mine unless I force it.

It is very clear, and thick enough to truly protect the glass underneath, and yet it is sensitive enough to recognize even the gentlest touch of my stylus.

I have 3M Transparency Paper for copiers on my S360, and I love it!

I probably will never want to use anything else ... and since I have a box of 100 sheets of 8 x 11" ... it will last forever.

You can cut out around 6 pda screens per sheet, so that is 600 screen protectors for around $20 per box.

It's very easy to cut, and once you've measured just one, you just use it as a guide to cut the others. I only cut one at a time, since I don't need to replace it very often.

:D :D :D

I used Brando on my SJ30 and was very happy with it. Then I heard good things about Boxwave and switched when I got my NX70V. You'll definitely be happy if you go with Boxwave.

I have CompanionLink sheets on my S320. They are vinyl and do the trick, but have a tendency to develop a big "swirly" section on the silk pad. Divots also appear where the stylus is tapped (I am admittedly a little heavy handed). Any bubbles work their way out in a couple of days.
Rating C- good for the price, easy to install, material is too soft.

My NR came with a Brando sheet on it (courtesy of the previous owner). It has a nice feel and is easy to care for. A "swirly" section develops over the silk pad, but that can literally be wiped away.
Rating A great for the price (I would have paid for it), easy to install/reinstall, great material.

I think I will try boxwave next. They have been getting a lot of rave reviews.

Can anyone comment on the Sony one's?

I originally used Brando, and was unhappy with the milkyness, and how difficult it was to apply without it leaving ugly gaps at the edge of the screen or bubbles under the protector.

After my first 2 Brando's I switched to Lumitector, and have to say it's the best I've seen. I could personally care less if it's glow in the dark, I just like it for it's screen protection capabilities! It's perfectly clear, easy to apply, and darned durable. I've been using one for about 7-8 months now, and it looks perfectly new, except for a little wear in the Graphitti area.

Only problem with the Lumitector's (from what I've heard) is that their customer service is slow and non-communicative. I didn't have any problems personally, but I was probably one of their first customers and may have gotten in before the rush. If you can deal with the wait I would still recommend them, I've really liked mine.

I've tried: Brando/Innopocket, G2, NuShield, WriteRight, Bekins, home-made (adhesive, vinyl, tape, transparency film, etc.), RadioShack, and Boxwave.

I RECOMMEND:
- Boxwave (www.boxwave.com) is almost foolproof (if done in a low-dust environment) and wonderful. Brandos are great, but a tiny bit milky, especially in sunlight. Boxwaves are better, but not perfectly clear. A bit pricy, but I am very happy with it.
- G2 (www.pdascreenprotector.com) are almost perfect in other ways. They are crystal clear, but 'slip-in' to fit. This can be a bit tricky, especially the first time. You get 2 in a pack, so they are a great value if you don't loose the other one!

Both are tough, scratch resistant, and washable/reuseable.

I haven't previously used screen protectors. But I noticed when I sold my Prism there were a couple of blemishes from the stylus. Have had my T665 for a couple of months or so. Yesterday I ordered the nushield screen protector that was advertised on this forum. Should Hve them in a couple of days so I'll post again later. Don't have any experience to ocmpare them to but they sounded pretty good. Easy to apply, no adhesive and no air bubbles promised.

I have been using a Sony one and I am not terribly impressed, it marked really quickly, scrathes quite badly and seems expensive.

I am going to revert to the overhead transparency idea which I used with no problems on my old palms.

If you do use transparencies, try injet ones, they have quite a nice texture.

I use Nushield and love them! They are perfectly clear, easy to apply, long lasting, and resonably priced.
