I purchased a TX from ebay (used) and it would not turn on one day. I tried a bunch of things, but after looking through it I noticed that it it appears the previous owner might of tried modifying it (it looked like the vibrate mod was trying to be soldered on). I got it pretty cheap, but I didn't think something like this would go wrong (since it's a sold "as is" item then the seller isn't exactly responsible). So I tried sending it to pdaparts.com, but I was too stupid to read that they didn't have the TX in their repair list. Now I'm looking for somewhere to send it to get it repaired without getting charged an arm and a leg for it. Can someone recommend a place for it?

Chris Short has a good rep. Search the forums here, eBay or Google for contact info.

I emailed him w/some preliminary questions about his service & terms, & he answered in a professional & business-like manner. If I ever need repairs I would definitely call on Chris to do it.
