Hello,

I have an NX60 and the WL100 wireless card. Our network at work uses certificates in order to authenticate wireless clients. Our IS people said that there are plug-in software for Palm OS that allows you to connect to such certificate enabled wireless networks. Does anyone have experience with that and/or know any more information about it?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Jeff

Hey Jeff,

Have you found a solution yet? Just curious, I too have certificate authentication at work and am eager to get the wi-fi working. I haven't played around much with it yet myself, however I plan to take a serious look at it soon. I'll post if I figure it out... or if it's even possible!

I know if you have a Palm OS based PDA that was from Palm like the T|X, you can buy for around $10 the Enterprise Software Update for Wifi that added Certificate based authentication support.

"The Enterprise Security Update (ESU) includes enhanced authentication and encryption for 802.1x-protected networks, as well as support for WPA Enterprise and WPA2 Enterprise."
