Clié and Bluetooth

I've got a NR70V and a bluetooth card. I've been trying to connect to my laptop with a TDK Bluetooth PC Card. Is it possible to use an internet conection on my laptop to check e-mail and use avantgo via bluetooth?

Absolutely, though a forum search would be in order I can give you a few quick pointers.

The pre-checklist: Installed bluetooth software by the bluetooth pc card, install bluetooth software with the BT MS.

Then you need to have the devices trust eachother, this is done by "paring devices".

Then right click the network neighborhood icon and select properties, on the other tab allow internet sharing. THat worked for me. If this doesn't work. Try fiddling around with the network settings.

On the clie side, make sure that all the bluetooth memory stick software has been transferred to the clie. Once it has, go under the network settings and create a new connection using the bluetooth MS as the device, leave name/password blank and when clicking "details" make sure its as fast as possible. Also, chose PPP as the type of connection.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff, but if I confuse you, there are other threads in this section that can help as well.

PS: I am using win2k and a bluetooth to usb adapter.
