Please forgive me if this has been discussed somewhere else. I tried to look around before posting this question.

I've tried to decrease the system font size using HackMaster (& XMaster) with FontHack123 v4.0 and that just doesn't do the trick. Ends up that the font doesn't change, but the rectangle meant to contain the text does shrink. So, I end up with messed up looking text.

I upgraded from a Palm m500 to my SJ30 and was very disappointed that I was able to decrease the system font size on the Palm and not on the Sony.

Is there any way to decrease the system font size on an SJ30 ?

thank you for any help you can provide...

Please register or most of us get annoyed and don't respond. It is easy and free.

Check here and follow the fonthack link. pay close attention to the version for hi-res devices, 4.0c, and exactly what needs to be done on those. frankly most people try to make the font larger and bolder on Clie's.

Thanks, russr. I certainly don't want break SOP.

dequardo (Mike), thank you very much. Can I ask for the link you mention, please ? Interesting point that most would like their fonts larger and bolder. I really prefer very tiny font in order to get the most text on the screen as is possible.

I appreciate your help, sir...
