Sometimes when I plugged my NZ90 into its craddle, my PC crashes.
For information my PC is running Windows XP Professional

You must have a USB system problem. A low level error will crash the system. You may have to uninstall and reinstall your drivers.

Same problem with my NX70V and cradle. My computer doesn't exactly crash, it instantly REBOOTS! Very annoying. It doesn't happen every time though. I haven't figured out what the variables have to be to cause it, but it happens 80% of the times I put it in the cradle. It's as if it is shorting out the motherboard.

This is on Win2000, BTW.

Oh, in Win XP there is an option buried that controls and forces the reboot on error. I disabled mine a long time ago. That way I was better able to get a handle on the error. I have no clue if Win 2K has similar or not. On Win XP it's under startup and recovery.

Ah... I found that setting in Win2000 too. I disabled the auto reboot on system failure, and I'll see what happens next time it dies.

Thanks for the idea...

Great! I found that nugget in PC World's magazine. Otherwise we wouldn't have a clue :).
