What are folks using as an alternative to NetFront for 'net access? I don't really use it because practically every site I try to connect to has an incompatibility - typically with Flash.

Thanks,
Mark

Um....this is not netfront's fault...no other palm browser supports flash...

Ok, so what does everyone else do - just live with the limitations? To me, the browser is mostly worthless. I can't even check my Comcast e-mail on the TH.

Frankly, for me, it's simple: I don't visit any site that has Flash as a requirement. In fact, on my PC, I have Flash Block as a Firefox extension. (Which will does allow me to enable it, if needed. Of course the only time I need it is to waste time watching YouTube stuff. ;) )

So what you guys are saying is that there is no good browser if you want to go to site with Flash? Has anyone tried Opera mini? I haven't yet, I'm not sure if it will even work on my TH55. I too am curious if there is anything out there comparable or better than NetFront. I do know one thing....I don't like Blazer.

I find NetFront & Picsel Browser do the job for me. I think I've tried all of the browsers now, and keep coming back to those two.

As far as Flash goes, it should never have been allowed to be used for site navigation in the first place; Flash apps should be just that -- self-contained apps.

That being said, check and see if your websites have a mobile portal; chances are, your browser can read the mobile version just fine.

How about setting up Gmail to recieve POP3 from your main email account, and connect to Gmail with Netfront?

The HTML view of Gmail works very well with Netfront
