Not working.
They claim that that my e-mail address, which they say I must use as my username, is not found, even though they delivered their confirmation e-mail to that same e-mail address with a link for me to click through to download the app.
They didn't fail to collect my personal information first, however.

Well, I got it to work. However, I did have to go through the process twice. It errored the first time.

I tried four times, but all within 20 minutes. Apparently it takes longer to register a new member.

Yeah... that stinks!! They give away MunduIM for PPC and a cool game for Blackberry and we get a diet plan that killed it's creator. No Joke - Dr. Atkins died of a massive heart attack - most likely from eating his own diet plan. :(

as old as it appears to be (without updates), they probably weren't making anything on it anyway....... so "free" may have a tainted meaning.....

Lol, that is funny. Did you know that you could get mundu IM for Palm OS? Even though it was worded improperly, if you selected your platform as Palm, you would get that version. I myself didn't realize this until PhreakOnaLeash told me about it Saturday  I contacted Handango support, and this is what I said:
"Hello,
Last Friday (12th) I checked out your "Free App Friday" promotion, and saw that mundu IM was the free application being given away. On the Free App Friday page it said mundu IM for Windows Mobile Smartphone, I did not pursue receiving my free application as I have a Palm OS device. later on Saturday, I was talking with someone who had received a free application for their Palm OS device, and they said that even though it was worded improperly, that they were able to receive mundu IM for Palm OS, because mundu makes their IM app for both WM Smartphone, Regular WM, and Palm OS. This was quite misleading, and I think it should be fixed to not only say the OS the free App was intended, but the OS'es it is available.
Thank you"
They responded by saying (and I can't quote it because it is "Confidential"), that basically you could not receive mundu IM for any other platform than WM, and sorry for the inconvenience. I responded by saying that you COULD receive mundu IM for Palm OS, but it was not worded properly on the website. They again apologized for the inconvenience, but said you COULDN'T get it for anything other than WM. I then gave up :o
Poor...Poor...Palm OS 5
Hopefully when Palm II OS 1.0 comes out, Handango and other handheld sites will be more enthusiastic when it comes to promotional give-aways
Palm, If your reading this...
YOU BETTER NOT SCREW YOUR NEW OPERATING SYSTEM BY NOT FIXING ALL THE KINKS BEFORE YOU RELEASE IT!
*******************
Just like Microsoft's Flub with Windows Vista, (alot of people are complaining) If Palm does not make a rock solid new OS, Apple is going to take their customers with Apple OS X (and XI)

It's a Palm App!
Friday November 23, 2007 - Shoot over to Handango (http://www.handango.com/) for a FREE copy of SplashData (http://www.splashdata.com/)'s Snap (http://www.splashdata.com/snap/) version 1.1 for Palm.
See the OP in this thread for more details on Free App Friday.
Didnt splashdata already give out its app for free for a limited time, I have it in my palm already, Did they update it in any way, Can it be accessorized yet?
Yay! Handango gives out another sucky app!
I use snap every now in then, its not that special, If it could be accessorized it would be a really good app. Im dont want to switch apps just so that I can input data and then switch again to callendar or tasks.
ClieOrganizer will be comming out for TX soon (thank you dmitry) and then I would not even need Snap...
Thanks scottl for reminding us that it is indeed "free app friday"
If only the handango's free apps were better than similar freeware.....

.... RakuDA :p
I loved RakuDA, There was some reason why I deleated it though, I think it was because I liked to organize my tasks and appointments into categorys, and it didnt do that..., maybe its updated so Ill try it again.
Thanks Vovka, I forgot the name of that DA :)

Yep, I used RakuDA and occasionally still do, but as cms mentioned, it's a bit fluffy for anybody but extreme basic users.
I would really like to see Handango do something special for Palm users. Last week I think winmob users got Agendus! Why couldn't they have thrown in a key for Palm users? At least Snap! is better than their previous Palm freebie, Atkin's carb diet planner - with new "Funeral Planner" tab. <ducking>
nice one scottl :D
Yah well, nows the time as any if you want to get snap, I like it more than RakuDA, though I wish snap could be accessorized...

I missed that offer last time, so I'm glad to have at least had the chance to, once again, add another free app to my archive. I even started donwloading some of the winmob apps they offer "just in case"... :o

Well, since I can't figure out anything clie related to Vista, and can't hot sync anything now, I tried installing this free app, Snap, to my compact flash card...but failed at that too! Could someone please tell me the steps in order that could help me to install this app, especially since someday I may wish to install another one.I have a clie nx80v and would appreciate any help I can get :) I also can't install anything to my memory stick because my computer card slot nor my card reader can read it
