ARe there any adverse effects when placing the TG50 near phones, or speakers, or other such devices that transmit or recieve possibly-detrimental signals?

Furthermore, I have a DMM Rio, and when I took it on a plane this one time, I dont know what it was, maybe the pressure change, but, I realized that an artifact appeared on the screen. It sort of looked like some of the crystals under the LCD sheath had frozen or something in a manner that resembles the colorful waves that cascade on oil. Can this, or, will this happen with my TG50?

If you limit the question to speakers, no. The TG50 uses LCDs, upon which the low magnetic fields have no impact. CRTs (televisions, monitors) are affected by speakers because they work by shooting a stream of electrons at a phosphor screen, deflecting it and aiming it with magnets... but LCDs are purely electronic; they change polarity to filter light in-place.
