Perhaps not the best, but I like it:
Palmreader (Pro). Nice feature is the customization of colours. I like bright letters on a black background when reading at night.

I use ReadThemAll. I love the way it scrolls. It doesn't make you dizzy like many others while autoscrolling.

I just downloaded iSilo to try last night, it doesn't seem all that bad, but I'm sure there are better ones out there.
I guess I'll Palm Reader a try today

Yes, the scroll feature of ReadThemAll is the BEST! But I wish that Max would address the VFS issue soon.

I normally use TealDOC to read my normal Palm DOC files, but I've just tried out TiBR and really like it... there are a lot of the functions I really like in a reader all in a very small size package. It also scans your MS card automatically for any Palm DOC files it can find and opens them really quickly! ClieSource just posted a news item about it on the front page, which is why I gave it a try. I'd suggest giving it a spin yourself, especially since it's free.

There are plenty of thread on this topic. Here's several. The first one I actually started a while back:

You might find more if you search. Hope this helps.

I think the best reader program out there is the PalmReader Pro.
Lots of options, all good :)
Worth it!!

There is no reader out there (that I know of) that does what I want:
In List View, sort the titles by date created or last modified;
(and does not take forever to load 100+ docs).
Believe it or not, I have resorted to using the old SmartDoc for my main reader (since it does exactly those things mentioned above) even tho I own QuickWord (which it evolved into) and most of the others.
If anybody can prove me wrong here, I would be eternally grateful.

i've used iSilo, PalmReader, TomeRaider (ugh the name!) and i hate them all!
TomeRaider reads the most file types, PalmReader is REQUIRED if you buy their eBooks, and of course the only one i come close to liking is iSilo. what i want is something with a similar feature set to iSilo, with the compatibility of TomeRaider, and with the SubePixle AA of PalmReader Pro - that is free (and before you say ClearType is a Microsoft technology that is only available on the PPC's, read this (http://grc.com/cleartype.htm))
