Over the past few years I've authored and published numerous articles regarding how to maximize the use of your PDA (not brand specific). Like many of you every PDA I had was good, but I always wanted it to do just a little more; Handspring Visor Pro=> Visor Delux=> Sony Clie NX70x => Palm T/X and now Sony Clie UX50. My latest acquisition seems to fill the bill for me...so far (although battery power is dissapointing). The real question is, what do you want YOUR PDA to do for you?
I use slides to present training material and until recently thought I was going to have to give in and purchase a presentation software application in order to advance my slides by remote. I know I could have also purchased a wireless mouse, but even those have some significant limitations. I came across Patrice Bernard's PCPilot for PalmOS, http://palm.nanika.net/ and have truly found something worth sharing. And of course the prices is right...freeware. PCPilot is a simple tool that lets you remotely control a
PowerPoint slideshow or your media player on your PC, from your PDA. I've tried it with Windows XP and VISTA and have had no problems! I'm going to give Openoffice.Org a run through as well.

If you know of some worthwhile alternative to costly commercial software, consider posting a link and sharing it with the world! ( or at least this forum)
