I'm using Clock+. At the time, it was the only option that looked good in high-res, so that's why I purchased it. I've been very happy with it. You can have unlimited alarms, though I usually have just a weekday and weekend alarm, each with different alarms, volume, and snooze length. It's been my alarm clock now for 2 years.

I am now using MegaClock. It works great, and has a lot of nice features. I had used Clock+ until I switched over to Megaclock.

PP, what do you like better about MegaClock? Is it just it's looks or is there some functionality you like better too? I've looked at MegaClock and it definitely looks better than Clock+, but I didn't notice anything else when I tried it and want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

I am reasonably happy with MegaClock. I was pretty happy with BigClock (freebie!), but wanted something 'prettier', a better timer (for playing games, cooking, etc.), and better alarms.
However, the alarms I use MOST often are those built into Datebook and Agendus!

Standard Clie World Clock works great for me.

MegaClock is great. I like its ability to set upto 20 different alarms, timer, stopwatch, world time, and the pretty good looking skins.

Ditto. I liked BigClock, but is still doesn't support hi res. I stopped using after trying Clie World Alarm Clock.

I use Bug Me, Jack, and World alarms 'cause of their simplicity.
Sometimes, after a soft reset, WA Clock fails to alarm, so I use a backup alarm that comes with WorldMate. For the second backup alarm (especially in the morning I have problem waking up), I use DiddleBug with this (http://www.cliesource.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=486) writing on the screen and "Mission Impossible" sound. That usually do the trick for jumping out of bed and rushing into the shower.

Does anyone still have one of those square things sitting next to their bed these days? You know, a real alarm clock? I find it works very well for me!
But, I do use waClock sometimes. I also sometimes just create an appointment on the calendar titled "Wake UP!!!!" and have the alarm repeat :)

WAC 1.01 fixed that problem. I believe you can get it on Sony's support site.

I've recently started using the brand new City Time Alarms program and really like it ! It supports Hi-Res, has a nice interface, can do both alarms and timers, will automatically enter your alarm into the Date Book if you want it to, and it can adjust it to what ever time zone you are in in case you are traveling in a different zone.

The reason I don't like a regular alarm clock anymore is that you have to remember to turn it on and off (for example, on the weekends) and it has a fixed snooze and sound. With an alarm app, you can set it up to have a weekday and weekend alarm, with different sounds and snooze lengths, etc, and you never have to think about it!!

tanker_bob, thanks for the tip. BTW, do you know the page where it is at? I look through the following link without any luck:

I just discoverd maClock (http://www.symbioforge.com/products.html#maclock) featured on ClieSource home page. It's everything I've been looking for in a clock app, except that the time only measures elapse time...I need an egg timer function. But it is a high-res app, does show a small world map, etc. Very nice, worth checking out and relative cheap at $11.95.

There are clocks on the market now that will do all of that. Of course, if you have already spent a bundle on a Clie who wants to spend more on a new clock :).

I actually use 4 traditional alarm clocks set 30 minutes apart. I then have 8 megaclock alarms set to go off with varying sounds and different time intervals set to maximum repeats and minimum snooze interval.
I have a hard time getting up. I either sleep walk and turn off the alarms in my sleep or they are incroporated into my dreams somehow rather than waking me up, but thats another story. Usually takes about 45-50 minutes, after 3 or 4 alarms have sounded, of this combination to get me up.
I usually have start this alarm regimen about 2 hours before I want to be up in order to get up on time.

I use DateBk5.
Works every time, customizable, best support of any PDA app:

I'm with kstuart . . . I use DateBk5.
Odd, my Sig Other's (REALLY LOUD) clock-radio alarm goes off at 4:30am ~ I don't hear it. EVER. BUT, I do hear 'Dancing Queen' go off at 6:30a on my clie. I have NO clue why this is, but DateBk5 works great for me.

It's on this page: http://www.ita.sel.sony.com/support/clie/t615/softupdates/ . That's the funny thing about Sony's support site--sometimes you have to look at other device areas to find what you need.

Yes, I have to say it definately looks better. Honestly, I can't remember why I switched. I had waited until Megaclock added a few things before I did switch. But once those had been fixed, I jumped in. I don't use any of the watch skins. I think they're too much. you know? I do like the variety of views between analg and digital and the moon phases is very nice to have. (Being a teacher of Elementary kids, it's a good thing to know when a full moon is coming :))

Does anyone have pet at home? My cat will wake me up exactly at 7am every morning (even at holidays and dayoffs).
PS~I also use MegaClock, it just looks nicer, nothing else.

I used to use BigClock, then multiClock, and now I'm bouncing back and forth between multiClock and MegaClock. I like the # of alarms in MegaClock, but like the access to alarms and the GUI of multiclock. There seem to be a few(cosmetic) bugs in multiClock as well.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but I recently replaced my Handera with a NX60 and I am looking for a good replacement for BigClock. BigClock was High-res on the Handera and looked great. Unfortunately, it doesn't look so good on the NX60 (works fine though, used it this weekend). I found Splash clock, which looks great, but doesn't have any alarms. Also, and this is just me being anal :), I want to see the seconds move.
I have tried a few of the ones that have been suggested and they just seemed too cluttered. I like how bigclock puts everything on different "pages" or tabs so that you only see what you want when you want. I guess that I will just live with SplashClock in the office and BigClock when I travel.
I also use the timer function of BigClock during the summer as I don't wear a watch all the time (or a digital one all the time either), so that would need to be replaced also.

I suggest megaclock, with the skins you should be able to find something you like

Unless there is something I missed, MegaClock is just a better looking version of Bigclock (that you can make look pretty), that takes up 1/2 a meg of space next to Bigclocks 65k. It is also not hi-res+ (unless I didn't do something right).
Let me tell you my requirements again and maybe that will help.
Big clock was full screen (240x320) on my Handera, and I loved how it looked. I liked how it had 2 tabs, each with 4 pages. I had the tabs set up for Central time (Tab 1) and Eastern time (Tab 2). The 4 pages were Clock, Alarm, World (didn't use much), and Timer (used to cook food at work). The two tabs were set up exactly the same except on tab 2 the time was displayed in Eastern time. A calender was shown if the graffiti area was down. I'm just trying to find a program that is similar in ease of use and looks good on my NX60.

But why would i use something that has essentially the same features, at 3-5 times the size and pay for it, if all I get is that it looks pretty. It isn't Hi-res+ so why not just stick with BigClock?
