Here's some interesting problems that I'm having and I can't seem to solve them.

First some background:

This afternoon I tried to use MSimport but when I did, nothing happened. Usually I get a sound and my computer sees the ms card as a harddrive, but today....nothing. I did a hard reset and tried to restore an earlier backup and it still didn't work. I had to restore a much earlier backup and then sync from my computer to get the databases I needed. The problem was solved...but since then I have another problem.

The AudioPlayer and Movie Player aren't working properly. They were both working earlier today. Now the audioplayer plays about 2 seconds from a song and then goes onto the next song....and it keeps doing that. If I move the place in the song...to say 10 seconds....it will finish playing it, but then after the first 2 seconds of the next song it will skip it.

I then went to Movie player and I found out that the movies that I had recorded with my clie did the same thing. After 2 seconds, it skipped to the next movie. However, the movies that I had downloaded were able to play well. So with Movie Player, it gave me problems with the movies that the clie had recorded.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on? I tried deleting the songs and then reinstalling them using msexport and still the same problem, then I just tried moving them to the card and still the same problem. I've done a soft reset and still the same problem.

Thanks for any help on this problem, I'm very very frustrated right now.

I should add that I use an MS pro 512 stick. Everything else seems to be going well.

I should also add that when I first got the MS pro, I had the same problem with the audio player. At that time, I removed all the songs and then reinstalled them and they worked fine. However, that didn't work for me this time.

have you considered a hard reset?

sounds like you forgot to install the MSPro patches / updates
I seem to remember reading that these won't be restored from a backup
It definitely has the symptoms

I agree, first install the system update patch, then the MS Pro driver. These are not restored from a backup, same with the WL100 driver.
