View Full Version : screen is dead, have to replace, ADVICE NEEDED for upgrade!

my NR is dead, well, not dead, the screen is shot. I took it back to Best Buy and was told it was still under warranty, so I'm gonna get a NZ90. My question is, can I still put my NR into my hotsync cradle, click the button and have it send all my info to my puter? How can I make SURE (100% positive) that my address and memo information is sent to my new NZ? Can anybody who has upgraded and done this please advise? I can't risk losing all my info. I have hotsynced recently, so if I can't do the sync, it should be ok, but I just need to know how to move the info. Thanks!

If you have a decent third party conduit (ie pocketmirror pro) you should be fine.

Go into C:/ program files/sony handheld/YOUR USER NAME/address(or other) it is hard to read, but you should be able to get the jist of if your dat was transferred,if not, download backup buddy, or someother backup program demo, and hotsync.
