I have only recently started to use zLauncher consistanly, and I have a few minor questions about the display setup.

I removed the game and M.D. device tabs since there were no programs there. Incidently, what is this M.D tab thing?? Does it have anything to do with expansion cards? How would I put the games tab back and put games that the launcher placed in the unfiled tab into the the games tab?

My other question is regarding the font or lettering on the tabs..they are too gray and light. Which makes them barely legible against the navy blue tabs of my theme. I think my theme is ZL3_ZLXP_SonyHR by hono. How do I make the lettering bright white or something that is more legible.

When I apply ZLI_WinXP_Sony.prc iconset, there is NO visible difference to anything....what is the purpose of this or any iconset?

1) To recreate the games category, tap Menu/Tab/New tab, then type in the name and charactaristics you want on the tab. Then just drag the application icons that you want in the game tab to that tab, or tap and hold on the app icon and then select Category from the popup menu, then select games from the list.

2) To change the app icon fonts, tap Menu/Options/Color setup. You can change virtually any item's color from that screen.

3) The icon file generally replaces the built-in app icons with new high density ones, as well as changing several icons throughout the interface--like the folders in file manager, etc.

The answers to all these questions, BTW, are in the manual that came in the ZL archive you downloaded. A quick read through it will help you tap the true potential of ZL.

Welcome to the ZL world!

The command bar is for activating shortcuts for fastest access to most common functions. For example, when you select some text and activate the command bar, you should see a copy and paste icon in the command bar.

When I select some text, it opens the program, giving me no chance to activate command bar. So i don't see any copy and paste icons.

The command bar's use for copying text requires that you be in a text program (datebook, memopad, etc.) to copy and paste. ZLauncher provides all that from a popup menu when you tap an hold on an icon and so doesn't need the command bar.
