I was trying to give alt236 some kudos (The little scales thing icon under your user image) but it didn't seem to work. Has it bekn disabled or something?

Also, as painful as it is to say this - Maybe the Tapwave (But NOT Tapland!!) link should be removed. The domain has been hijacked by GoDaddy and is just another one of their squats now :(

GoDaddy is a domain registrar, therefore it has not been hijacked by them. More likely they were the original registrar of the domain, the registration has not yet expired but the owner of the domain has stop maintaining service on the domain and thus it reverted back to GoDaddy's default parking page.

Checking the WhoIs information on tapwave.com I see:
GoDaddy is the registrar.
It was Created on: 20-Sep-01
It will Expire on: 20-Sep-09
The Administrative Contact: Connell, Byron of Menlo Park, California.
Probably someone who was with TapWave.
The Technical Contact: Lee, Jonathan of 123cheapdomains.com.
Probably tapwave.com was last being hosted by 123cheapdomains.com. Eventually that hosting contract expired or was terminated. At that point the domain reverted back to the registrar. When that happens, GoDaddy aims it at their "parking" page. Other registrars do something similar or just let it go to "domain not found".
