Just like to introduce my new Traffic Counter for PalmOS. It's integrated in 2LaunchMe. Have a try here:

Psuedo Multitasking! Maybe more programs can use this feature? Or is it solely for Treo type programs?

Will the traffic counter work on BT/Wifi connections as well?

Pseudo Multitasking: It's using Pruss' Accessorizer. It works just like you would call a DA, but you could use the launcher to call every app in front of the active one.
Traffic Counter: It works with everything which is based on Network-lib.

Hotkey launcher, Traffic counter etc.
I like the idea of the traffic counter so I have tried it on my PalmTX - the counter is perfect for monitoring my Vodafone Data usage. My question is since the rest of the functionality of 2Launchme seems to be Treo specific, is there any chance of you creating a standalone Traffic Counter program?

No, why would you want it? The Treo-stuff doesn't hurt :-)
I guess not, as long as it works on my TX then I am happy.

I have a TX too, I'll take care for the TX compatibility.
Hi MetaView,
I tried 2launchme 2.2 yesterday, find it is a good solution for one-key-launch-app/da/panl. But there are also some inconvenience in it.
1. Hotkey Time is too long, the shortest is 1 secord while I think 0.3s is proper.
2. Holding the key to launch app A from app B, 2launchme will pre-type the letter in app B and post-type the letter in app A
Thanks

(...sorry for the length of this post... it just kept growing as I typed...)
I had purchased and been using v1.6 for awhile on my 755p, and generally liked it.
When I got notice of an update to v2.2 for registered users, I tried it.
And did NOT like one of the features. I have gone back to v1.6.
I have the side button set to toggle the keyboard backlighting.
In v1.6, it ALSO passes-through the keypress to toggle play/pause for a background session of PTunes (this obviously requires the 755p to be ON to make the button live - the nice thing is it does NOT get blocked by the keyguard feature).
In v2.2, 2LaunchMe swallows the key press and it no longer allows me to use the same key to control PTunes --- UNLESS the current app is the phone interface ... Then and Only Then does it still work the same way as v1.6.
Any chance of an update sometime to get back this functionality?
Perhaps as an option if it interferes with some other user requested feature?
I would be very interested in trying some of the versions between v1.6 and v2.2 (to not only narrow down when this major change of functionality happened, but also I'd like to try to be the BTon/BToff feature working to support my new BT GPS), but I don't know where to find these other versions.
On a related note - I have yet to find a combination that I like for controlling (ROM'd) PTunes, and voice dialing.
When I am driving, I use a (single-ear) headset with a mike and a push button.
I have purchased a couple of full-featured headset button programs, but they were not very intuitive to me, nor fast - requiring things like activating the correct mode with multiple presses. And Waiting. Then selecting the sub-function with some more presses. And Waiting.
I would dearly love to be able to quickly pause/play audio-books/podcasts (or of course answer/hangup an incoming phone call!) with a quick action of the headset button, and still be able to easily use the free VoiceDial app by Voice Signal Technologies that Palm makes available to 755p users (and sporadically updates with bugfixes) to make phone calls and other functions via voice command.
I think I could do this if I could have 2LaunchMe handle a "short" press fo the headset/mike button as one function for background PTune toggling/default-phonecall answer/hangup, and have a separate "long" press of the headset/mike button separately assignable to launch an app, like VoiceDial.
Oh, and as for the traffic counter, it is not that interesting to me at this time (having been "forced" by my provider to get a $$$$ unlimited data plan). Maybe I will find use of it sometime, like for testing/verification of some problematic network connections. Maybe.

@cmlx:
1. no it isn't possible because of the way it is handling the keys.
2. yes, I know and don't know how to prevent it.
@ReadOnly:
I will add an option for the volume buttons to be eaten or not. About the headset button, I will have a look.
