Screen Clie button

Hi every body,

I'm using my nz since 2 week !

it's a good pda.

my question is about using the 4 little buttons in bottom of the screen.

My screen is turn on the kboard , when i push one of this , nothing append ?

Anyone have an answere about my trouble ?

When you turn your screen into the tablet mode (Screen on top) then the 4 buttons will launch the main Palm applications. Try it. Its fun.

I believe that waveman's statement: "My screen is turn on the kboard" means it is in tablet mode....

waveman, make sure you have the screen covering the keyboard, and with the screen facing out... if the buttons still do not work, try a soft reset... if they still do not launch the "big 4" palm apps, then you have a program intefering... one member found it was his launcher... (I can't remember if it was LauncherX or something else)... his solution was to delete the 3rd party launcher (then the buttons worked), then re-install the launcher, and the buttons still worked...

I had this problem, but it was a hardware problem.

I called the Sony number, talked to them, they sent me a box to send in the NZ90 which arrived on a Tuesday, I sent it out for repair Wednesday, they repaired on a Thurs, then was sent back the next day. FAST!

They told me it would take 11 days, but it only took a few.

I made a Hard reset last night, but it's the same. no button works !!!

i think it's a HW problem

I don't know if i return my nz for repair. ...

Sur it's better if that **** button work.

If a hard reset doesn't work, I'm pretty sure it's a hardware problem. Same thing happened with mine.

If your product is new, you can always return it to the store you bought it from for exchange.

I ordered online, so I just decided to send it to Sony since I didn't want to deal with the online business.

It takes about 30 minutes to get them to agree for you to send it in, then they send you a 1 day air fedex box to ship it to them in, then they fix it and 1-day it back to you. It's definitely worth it. It's only a few days without your Clie.

Yes, that a hardware probleme.
I send it to Sony and 10 days after, i receive it.

Now all work fine.
