Some of you, especially those who own TH55 know how great the TH battery is, as shown in these threads:

TJ Battery Tests
I was curious with how my TJ performances stack up against my TH55s, so I tested both my TJ25/U and TJ/35/E1 battery performance using Battery TIME 1.84 (http://palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&PartnerREF=&siteid=1&prodID=45712), as they are when I got them. The TJ25/U really sucked, discharge test time of T:01:36:49 at 10%, 3.75V with 100% brightness. The TJ35/E1 was a bit better with T:03:03:08 under the same test condition. I figured the TJ25/U is ready for battery change and TJ35/E1 still has about a year of life.
The surgery
I opened up the TJ25/U, pulled out the battery and discovered that its battery was surprisingly the same size as that of TH55 battery, except a millimeter thinner (3 mm thick) than that of TH55 (4 mm thick), as shown in Figure 1 below. TJ25 battery is on the left side of the picture. That may be the reason why those TJ25 batteries sold in the market have a rated capacity of 850 mAh vs TH55 of 1400 mAh.
Guess what comes next
So After looking at the space available, I felt that I may be able to use my super-duper 1400mAh LG battery from Vincent for the TJ25/U. After slight modifications (metal ribs bending, copper sheet trimming, press snugly here and there), that TH55 battery fits great in TJ25 battery cavity, as shown in Figure 2. below.
To be continued
I then buttoned everything up. It came together snuggly but nicely. I can't see the turbocharged battery from looking at the outside. ;) It is currently sitting on my UC55 to be juiced up overnight.
I'll report the result tomorrow... Till then. :)
