Palm does not release this information broken down by model. The best you will be able to learn is handhelds vs. smartphones in their quarterly financial statements.

Since the LifeDrive is a discontinued model, you can assume that Palm's number for the most recent quarter is zero.

Well, I was hoping to find out how many of them were sold, just to see whether they were so unpopular as many people are saying...
Anyway, thank you for the time you spent answering! :)

According to IDC (a market research group) Palm shipped in the 2 quarter of 2007 317,300 "Handheld devices" (PDAs) worldwide, 44.1% of the market share. Second was HP with 168,800 or 23.5%, then Mio (they primarily operate in Asia/Pacific) with 97,691, 13.6%, then Dell with 23,975, 3.3%. The Total market was 718,930.

However, a year ago (2Q2006) the total market was 1,264,683 units, of which Palm shipped 475,000, 37.6%. Thus Palm is the most popular PDA brand, but it is a larger piece of a smaller market. More and more people are moving over to smartphones.

Thanks a lot! :)
Well, since there are no official data on how many LDs were sold, does anyone know where could I find some polls in which many people voted, to see the approximate number of LDs compared to TX, for example? :)
