I just saw Bellagio case on their site. It looks good. Has anyone examined the case in person? Anyone dare to give it a workout and provide a feedback?

Hmmm, the headphone jack and the irda port are covered ;-/ At least it looks like that...
Doesn't look to good to me because it doesn't replace the cover! I want something that can flip all the way around. If anyone actually buys this and it turns out that it works well without the cover that comes with the TG, please post!

yes I agree. I want something to replace the cover. other than that this looks perfect. but I really prefer a cover replacement. if the flip-cover part of this case is somewhat hard then it would be perfect.. anyone have it could post??

I have the Brando case and use it to replace the cover.

It works well for my purposes. (I got the flip case with magnetic closure). It attaches by snapping into the cutouts on the back of the CLIE; my only reservation is whether the little posts will loosen over time.
There's a cutout for the headphone jack and another for bluetooth (but not the IR).
I probably won't have time to post any pics until I get back from Europe late next week.

I have a couple of Beallgio Cases and just love them.

I bought a TG50 case for my son.... called about headphone jack access while closed, and they assured me it is accessable.
I highly recommend this company! Nice people...great to deal with.

I've had my Brando Case now for two weeks and to answer somebody elses question, yes the top retaining posts do loosen and it doesn't take long; under two weeks. I will be tossing mine and buying the Bellagio case. :(
Not very happy with the quality of this design! I wish EB cases or Vaja would design a case. I really like the magnetic flip design of the past EB Cases.

The retaining clips at the top never were very snug on my Brando case either. :( I had good luck with that company for screen protectors and my usb charge/sync cable, but this case does suck.
The xigma case looks similar - but with a little cradle around the bottom. Does anyone know if it's actually the same case? (Will the build quality be okay?)

I, too, have the Brando case - about a month now. While it seems odd to
have 2 flip-tops, I've gotten used to it.
Also, I've had no problems with the upper clips. I can see where they would
be a problem over time. But to be fair, I don't hot-sync that often - once a
week, maybe.
This case is exactly what I needed: protection when I throw it in my briefcase.
YMMV . . . :)

Seemed so to me too, so I took the metal flip top off (see my pics above).

I've received the Bellagio case today, and initial impressions are favorable.
Putting it on was to me a touch nonintuitive; I took the cover off before I noticed that the front flap is attached with elastic, so you can attach it without removing the cover.
Everything fits well; took a little wiggling back and forth to make sure all of the straps are seated right. They fit around the bumps in the TG50 well.
The TG50 sits in the cradle nicely, and syncing is no problem.
The front is relatively stiff and well-padded. I suspect you could use it without the cover, though I would prefer to retain the cover.
There are cutouts for everything important on the top of the TG50, including the indicator lights, memory stick slot, Bluetooth area, IR port, and headphone jack. One possible problem is that the IR port is accessible when the cover is closed, but obscured when the cover is open. Might take some jockeying around to use the IR port with the cover open.
There is a flap in back to hold a memory stick, and it works well. The magnetic closure is decent, as is the belt clip. My belt is a bit thicker than the slot, but it has a J-hook on the bottom that holds it tightly. The clip locks onto the post on the back of the case.
All in all, I am very pleased with the case. After using it for a while, I expect the hinge area to soften some and not get as much in the way of the IR port. If you need to use the port, you can always unhook the front of the case from the cover.
Hope you find this useful. If you have any questions, let me know.

Thanks! I ordered a Bellagio sight unseen as the Brando case posts were more ornamental than anything after two weeks of hotsyncing.
I'm glad to hear that it syncs okay in the case.
I have to say though, like others here, what I truly want is a vaja case for my TG50. Ah well.

Does anyone know where there are instructions to remove the flip cover to put a new one on?
