I am a registered user of YiShow for Clie.
I bought it about 2 weeks before my NR-70 died a horible death and BB sold me my new NX-70V

We all know what happened then.
I was forced to use the trial version of YiShow for Palm until the YiShow for Clie OS5 version came out. I downloaded this version right away and have been trying SINCE IT CAME OUT to get a registered copy.

I've been using Unistall Manager every 30 days so that I can keep using it. Yes this sucks, yes I know it's bad to use UM to get around trial version, YES I've ALREADY PAID for it.

I can't find where I bought it from. I thought it was PalmGear but it doesn't show up on the list of software I can download. I've tried looking at HandyGo but same thing (which makes sence because I'm pretty sure I didn't buy it there).
I've tried to get ahold of the developer with no luck.

Any ideas?

I like YiShow. It's always worked well for me. I'm starting to get a bit frustrated though, after months of trying to get an updated copy of software I already own.

:(

I'd email Palmgear to see if they can find your record. Or check to see if you have the order number from when you bought YiShow and ask Palmgear about that. I personally bought the Palm version of YiShow at one time because it was the only one that ran on the NX, and the developer's notes even said I had to buy the Palm version because of the NX issue. Less than a week later, he updated the Clie version. I have been a ZLauncher user ever since. (Not that I didn't try to contact Yi to ask if a crossgrade was possible; he just never answered any emails.)

Cheers!

Due to similar lack or response/upgrades, I have switched (without regret) to ZLauncher from YiShow even though I had paid for YiShow.

I have never had any problems either but have read many others tails of woe. If you cant get them to make it right move on....no need to give them more of your money for poor support. I still use YiShow but if I ever have any problems I wont hesitate to give the ZZTech guys my $12 and jump ship.

If you cannot find and prove your purchase, spend $12 and step into the wonderful world of innovation and support with ZZTech's ZLauncher! ;) I was a die-hard fan of YiShow due to its simplistic interface. Spend a couple of hours getting familiarized with ZL and you can tweak it to be as simplistic or complicated as you want, whatever your heart desires. It is the superior Palm OS launcher . . . hands down! :D
