I was looking around and was trying out SnapperMail. So I thought, heck I like so much I'll just delete Versamail from the options (as in the menu options). After doing that I noticed that I couldn't use that "send" command on some of the programs (where it lets you select to "send" via BT or Print or SMS). Unfortunately I didn't backup before I did this and now I don't know how to get that option back. I did do a hard reset and noticed the function was there after the hard reset, when I restored it wasn't...so I'm stumped. Is there a file that I SHOULDN'T be restoring or a file I should copy and install? I'll probably get it, but I'm not sure as to how to go about this. Please any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I believe you can reinstall Versamail from your PC or the Palm CD.

However, try running cleanPrefs first - that sometimes fixes this sort of problem without having to reinstall the program you don't want. It worked for me when I removed Versamail and it snookered AgendusMail.

I don't know what backup program you use, but if it's NVBackup, Heard-reset, then selective restore ALL YOUR FILES. This will not put your unit to the exact same state it was before HR, but will just restore stuff that isn't there.

Glad it worked. The benefit of these forums is that there's usually somebody who got the problem before you. I got the fix from somebody else here so happy to pass it on...
