Beaming Photos to T|E

A friend took a photo on his Zire and tried to beam it to my T|E, and now I can't find where it went. the beaming message said it was saving the file to Documents* ( the ZL shortcut for DocsToGo).

Any help?

I tried to find an app that would search for the file (starts with "set3" .

Try FileZ. You will need to move it to the DCIM folder on SD card or rename to a .pdb.

I tried both FileProg and FileZ, but even with a filter for the first letter of the name, I couldn't find it anywhere. :( Maybe it didn't get saved because the OS tried to save it to a ZL file shortcut?

As an aside, can you specify a destination for beamed documents & apps? It would help you locate it later.

You might be able to specify a destination with an app like UniCMD, but by default, the files go where the programs registered to handle them decide to put them. Check your card for a Documents folder, or see if maybe the picture landed in /Palm/Programs/ZLauncher or a subfolder. (If I beam a picture to my Zodiac, it will end up in /Palm/Programs/AcidImage/Received, for example.)
