Hi guys, I was wondering if there is any web browsers that can support most websites. Examples those with flash or javascript. Or checking Hotmail... Thanks!

Xiino supports Java and SSL. Don't think any OS4 device can really support Flash (not enough power).

Theri page seems to be down at the moment... :(

I have been using for quite some time now with my T615, and I am very pleased with it. It's fast and seems to support most web pages. I can check Yahoo!, download images and whatever else. Check it out!

Never quite thought about it this way - Very funny!

I've been using the iPanel browser. Works pretty well, I can check my yahoo mail, login and post to forums, etc. Plus it has a feature that allows you to shrink the page to fit everything on your screen, view it at regular size with side scrolling, or wrap the text for easier reading.

I checked the web page out for iPanel, and it looks pretty nice. Question: The feature page says iPanel is proxyless, but is
that not a function of the mobile provider of the phone that
is connected to the Clie? For instance, I have Sprint PCS Vision,
which uses proxies. Would iPanel still work?

Or are you using iPanel in a web clipping/non-live mode?

Thanks for putting up with the duh questions.

Jerry

You can configure iPanel to use a proxy under the settings menu. I am connecting via GPRS so haven't had to use this option.

Oops sorry, yeah, meant that I've been using Xiino for quite some time.

I checked out iPanel too not so long ago, but after locking up my T615 a few times I decided to call it quits. I've used Blazer also, but found it unrealiable, where as the Eudora browser was good, but only for text. Up to now I have been most pleased with Xiino.

As far as I know you get a free 30 day trial with both of them. I'd spend some time with each and decide which one turns you on the most!

Cool! I will keep that in mind. Now to settle my exams before indulging into my PDA again. Haha

Nice recommendations for all 3 web browsers. But that time I was using Xiino, it would not get me into Hotmail account. I have not try surfing other websites... Apparently, its due to a Javascript application.

what is bump?

bump is posting a reply to a thread just to get the thread percolated up to the top of the thread stack. This is done so that forum readers coming to the thread page will see this thread near or at the top, and would be more likely to read and respond.

Some forums outlaw bumping.

Others allow it, but prefer it be done subtly at least offering some new information. As an example, this post explains 'bump', and at the same time, keeps the thread "fresh".

Seriously, to add some content here:
I heard from The Supply Net that a cable for the T655C connected to the Samsung N400 is about 6 weeks away from shipping. At that point, this thread becomes even more interesting to me.
