Does anybody know an app that can force 480 display for apps of your choosing for example accesorizer a half screen app check it out of a list and when I open accesorizer it'll be in full screen. I don't mean to stretch the bitmaps just drop them down for example statbar da is a da to remove the statbar on a clie and when launched. It shows the app in complete full screen and it makes it look like the Clie never had a status bar if anyone knows something like this please say so

Thanks for reading...

While DisplayManager is a great app (I recommend it), it will only control the display of apps that can normally be viewed at 480. Accessorizer is forced to 320 to prevent certain crashes I believe. There is a thread about it here.

Perfect display manager is what I needed, though it doesn't really drop everything down to 480 just kind of makes the graffiti area white :)

When it does that (makes the graffiti area white) it means the app that you dropped the DIA in only supports 360x360. It just doesn't fill the screen where the DIA was ;)

Isn't CodeDriver supposed to do something like that.....

Yes, and MaxX does it for select apps (and can also hide the status bar in landscape mode).

If an app has a fixed interface and cannot resize to take advantage of the entire screen, you'll get a white bar where the DIA was.

An easier method of getting DAs in full screen would be to ask Alex to produce a custom version for you that does this... of course, the downside is that any DAs generated this way would crash under all sorts of circumstances.

I'm sorry I just think it funny that Alex has become somewhat of a celebrity around here :)
